Richard was friendly, thorough and fair priced on tinting the in-law's vehicle. Responded in a timely manner on price, tint availability and location. In Waikiki, but convenient for us. The types of tint was clearly outlined for what was best for the vehicle and the quality was excellent!

Messaged Richard through yelp and he responded within 15 min. He sent me a quote to take off and put on new tint and I scheduled an appt for my truck the next day. I dropped off my truck with him and got the ceramic tint for my front driver and passenger side windows since I recently blacked out the back side already. Tinting Hawaii recently tinted my 2019 Tacoma. From the very first phone call requesting a quote I could tell that they were knowledgeable and professional. Richard was able to give me a quote immediately over the phone and assist me with setting up an appointment. I knew that I wanted ceramic tint which is pricier than regular tint (totally worth it in Hawaii since it's sunny all year round) but I was unsure of what percentage to put on my back windows. Richard showed me a sample on my truck's window to compare a few different tints before making my decision. I really appreciated him taking the time to explain everything to me and show me all the options before I made my decision. I actually went with something darker than I originally considered prior to him showing me samples on the truck. The shop is located on the top floor of the Hawaiian Monarch Hotel garage. Since they are in Waikiki there is plenty to do while waiting for the work to be done. Richard gave me a heads up when he was almost finished so I could get back to the shop and on my way. The truck looks great!!! I am so impressed with how the interior cabin temperature stays cool IN THE SUN!!! Ceramic tint is the way to go for sure! I would definitely recommend calling Richard at Tinting Hawaii.
